If you enjoy the EARLY works of Dean Koontz, John Saul, or Stephen King, buy this book now. Although it has a slow start, don’t give up on it for at least 90 minutes. I usually set the timer for 60 minutes at bedtime and fall asleep reading, but because I was so engrossed in the book, I kept resetting the timer until 2.5 hours remained till the end, and I just turned the timer off! This book sank its teeth into me, and I had to finish it lol. It was a good thing it was the weekend!
It was a good thriller and I didn’t want to stop listening until I knew what happened.
As with all Carol’s books – I’ve read them for years in paperback then enjoyed them again on my kindle – just a great thriller with characters you can relate to. A wonderful book by a great author. I highly recommend listening to it!
